It is said that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” We experience it this way when we chose a favorite painting, song,
sculpture, garden or any work of art. But there is also a more universal sense of beauty, which transcends beyond
personal preference. More concretely, it is experienced when we sense that something is right, or in harmony. It is not a
preference, but an acknowledgement that there is a perceivable order that exists outside of us, such as natural proportion.
This order is a widely recognized expression of beauty. |
